The brand new World's Wonder Gourmet Menu:

Partridge – Pot roasted with Cognac, red wine, juniper berries then reduced and blended with cream.

Calves Liver – Lightly floured and pan-fried with a Blackberry sauce & warm avocado

Fillet steak – served with rostini seasoned with horseradish with a Red wine Jus

Venison steak – served with our special Chocolate sauce

Red snapper –with Mussels, baby spinach, white wine & cream

Loin of Lamb – in a red wine reduction, infused with rosemary, mint, garlic and redcurrant

Duck – with Madeira wine, lime & ginger

Vegetable Tart – Individually Homemade tart filled with Mediterranean vegetables and topped with goats’ cheese & fresh asparagus

All served with potatoes & seasonal vegetables

World's Wonder Homeade Pie Menu:

Good Old Fashioned Pies made the way they used to be made; full of flavour and deep filled with meat - short crust pastry top and bottom!

*Fish Pie: - Smoked & white fish with salmon & prawns all star together in a white wine sauce under buttery mash potato.   

*Rabbit & Bacon Pie: - Local rabbit with bacon served with a thick gravy.                                                                                    

Steak & red wine Pie: - Best local beef is used to give full flavour and texture to this favourite, served with deliciously thick Gravy.                                                                                         

Chicken & mushroom pie: - Local Free-Range chicken cooked to perfection with the mushrooms, in a creamy sauce, home made? Of Course                                                                                     

Minty Lamb pie: - Local lamb, tender and succulent meat in a minty sauce hidden in homemade short crust pastry.                            

Steak & kidney pie: - What can be said about this old traditional favourite that has not already been said, except ours IS tastier.                                                                              

Cottage Pie
Best local mince, cooked in a homemade stock topped with creamy mash, served with vegetables                        

**Provencal pie:- Medley of vegetables & beans in a delicious sauce covered with French bread dipped in garlic flavoured olive oil, and topped with tasty cheese

Chicken Gougons with Bacon
Succulent chicken breast and back bacon pan-fried in garlic butter, served with salad, roll & butter.
Rack of Ribs
Full rack of ribs, in spicy barbeque sauce served with coleslaw, onion rings, &fries
Homemade Mushroom Stroganoff (v)
Button mushrooms in a delicious brandy & cream sauce, served on a bed of fluffy rice with garlic bread
Chilli Burrito
Tortilla wrap filled full of wonder chilli & topped with grilled cheese and served with sour cream, guacamole jalapenos and salsa
Homemade Meat Lasagne
Local best minced beef layered between Italian egg pasta & topped with a creamy rich béchamel Cheese sauce, served with garlic bread & salad garnish

WORLDS WONDER FAMOUS HOMEMADE PIES

CHICKEN AND MUSHROOM, STEAK IN RED  WINE, RABBIT AND BACON, STEAK AND KIDNEY, COTTAGE AND FISH

Our pies are homemade, thick filled, shortcrust pastry top and bottom, and served with new or mash potato. (Fish and Cottage pies have our homemade mashed potato covering),  all serves with fresh local vegetables. Due to popular demand and  being homemade, our pies are  subject to availability.

DESSERTS

See our specials board for our daily pudding selection. Nearly all of our puddings are homemade by Ian our chef and usually include Apple or Rhubarb crumbles various cheesecakes, chocolate puddings or brownie stacks plus any seasonal desserts, served with custard, cream or Ice cream
